How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your device's Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Stewbot in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Can I restore my recipes on a new device?

Yes! If you have cloud backup enabled, simply sign in with the same account on your new device and restore from your most recent backup in the app settings.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account directly from within the app under Settings. Alternatively, send us an email at support@stewbot.app with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and we will delete your account and all associated data from our servers within 30 days.

Is my recipe data private?

Absolutely. Your recipes are stored locally on your device by default. Cloud backups are encrypted in transit and stored securely on AWS. We never share your personal recipe collection with anyone. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What does the AI chat feature do?

Stewbot's AI chat lets you ask cooking questions, get ingredient substitutions, learn cooking techniques, and get personalized meal suggestions based on your pantry and preferences. It's available to premium subscribers.

How does pantry photo scanning work?

Take photos of items in your kitchen and Stewbot's AI will identify the ingredients and add them to your pantry. The images are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.

The app isn't parsing a recipe from a website correctly. What should I do?

Some websites use unusual formatting that can trip up our parser. Send us the URL at support@stewbot.app and we'll work on improving support for that site.
